Cundinamarca recibe premio como mejor Departamento de Colombia
La directora del DNP, Alejandra Botero, anunció hoy que Cundinamarca obtuvo el primer lugar en la Medición de Desempeño Departamental, MDD, que tiene como finalidad medir y comparar el desempeño de las administraciones departamentales, entendido como la gestión de las entidades y la consecución de resultados de desarrollo, en la cual el Departamento obtuvo el primer lugar con 84.83 puntos sobre 100.
Al respecto, Nicolás García Bustos, Gobernador cundinamarqués expresó “para mí es un honor recibir este reconocimiento que es resultado del trabajo en equipo con los funcionarios de la Gobernación de Cundinamarca, la Asamblea, pero sobre todo los cundinamarqueses que han creído y confiado en el trabajo que hemos venido haciendo con todo el cariño. Seguiremos haciendo lo mejor por Cundinamarca”.

Esta MDD está compuesta por 2 componentes, que son gestión y resultados, divididos a su vez en 11 dimensiones y en 38 variables y utiliza una metodología simple, fácil de replicar y comunicar, y útil para orientar la política pública.
Durante el evento de reconocimiento la directora del DNP, Alejandra Botero, manifestó al Mandatario Departamental con respecto al primer lugar obtenido que: “Gobernador usted le está dejando un legado a su departamento que trasciende su gestión y esto es importantísimo porque lo que estamos haciendo es fortaleciéndolo a largo plazo.”
Para el caso de Cundinamarca, el DNP destacó su desempeño en cuanto a la ejecución de los recursos y a las buenas prácticas de planeación institucional y resaltó de manera especial que en los indicadores de talento humano, planeación institucional y seguimiento y evaluación obtuvo la calificación más alta superando los 98 puntos.
Durante el evento de reconocimiento se destacó a los departamentos de Antioquia y Valle del Caucam los cuales obtuvieron el segundo y tercer lugar respectivamente en esta MDD, que tiene como objetivo identificar oportunidades de mejora y buenas prácticas de desempeño a partir del seguimiento a indicadores a nivel departamental y constituyen un elemento fundamental para la focalización de asistencia técnica del gobierno nacional.
Cabe resaltar que durante el año 2014 Mosquera recibió el primer lugar en la Medición de Desempeño Municipal para la vigencia 2012, en el cual se destacó con una calificación de 98,8 puntos con la que se evidenció la eficacia y el avance en la ejecución de su Plan de Desarrollo, así como una puntuación de 75.4 en lo que se refiere a la cobertura y calidad de los diferentes programas a toda la población del Municipio y, un 98,4 en el cumplimiento del sistema general de participaciones.
