Secretaría de Salud de Zipaquirá Oro a Nivel Nacional por Semaforización IVC
SDentro del marco del XVI Congreso Gobernar Salud 2019, “Pacto por Colombia-Pacto por la Equidad”, la Secretaría de Salud de Zipaquirá logró el ORO como reconocimiento al Mérito en Salud Pública que ofrece la Corporación Colombiana de Secretarios Municipales y Distritales de Salud (COSESAM)
El Secretario de Salud, Víctor Vélez, fue el encargado de realizar, frente al Viceministro de Salud, la Superintendencia Nacional de Salud y las Secretarías de Salud a nivel nacional, la ponencia sobre la semaforización sanitaria a los establecimientos de alimentos y bebidas realizando las actividades de Inspección, Vigilancia y Control (IVC) como experiencia exitosa y que recientemente el INVIMA, como autoridad nacional, también lo distinguiese.
En el Foro sobre Innovación en Salud Pública, dentro del Congreso, el Secretario de Salud de Zipaquirá expuso lo que se ha realizado con respecto a la semaforización en IVC y los resultados que han arrojado en pro del bienestar de los habitantes del municipio y de los mismos comerciantes que han empezado a entender la importancia de tener el semáforo en verde para aumentar sus ventas, mostrando a los consumidores el compromiso con la calidad del manejo de los alimentos.
Para el Alcalde Luis Alfonso Rodríguez Valbuena el lograr que en 2016 fuera aprobado por unanimidad en el Concejo Municipal el Proyecto de Acuerdo “Por medio del cual se establece la semaforización sanitaria a los establecimientos de alimentos y bebidas, sujetos de inspección, vigilancia y control«, ha sido todo un beneficio para la ciudad. Además, la vigilancia se desarrolla a través de un equipo de profesionales y técnicos en saneamiento, que realiza recorridos por los establecimientos observando y verificando el cumplimiento normativo en cuanto a edificación e instalaciones, equipos y utensilios, flujos de personal y de producto, buenas prácticas operacionales, abastecimiento de agua potable, manejo de residuos sólidos y líquidos, personal manipulador, entre otros.” Ratifica el mandatario local.
El encargado de la cartera de salud, Víctor Vélez, afirmó que la estrategia ha sido fundamental y que los resultados son dicientes. “Se hace vigilancia no solo a establecimientos de venta y expendio, sino que también se realiza seguimiento a los restaurantes escolares, y hoy ya son 27 los que cuentan con semáforo verde, mientras en 2016 sólo eran 6”.
La “Semaforización Sanitaria” consiste en colocar un sticker de color verde, amarillo o rojo., dependiendo las condiciones encontradas en los diferentes establecimientos. Esto es con el fin de dar cumplimiento, a la normatividad en sanidad, que rige para los establecimientos dedicados a la preparación consumo y expendio de alimentos.
“Esta actividad o campaña realizada por la administración municipal, busca prevenir y mitigar los riesgos derivados, de inadecuadas prácticas de manufactura higiene e inocuidad, que desencadenan en enfermedades transmitidas por alimentos, procurando condiciones saludables para la comunidad” asevera el Secretario de salud.
Los sticker de color verde son favorables, color amarillo es favorable con requerimiento y el de color rojo es desfavorable.
“Esta mención de honor motiva a la Alcaldía Municipal para continuar trabajando por el mejoramiento de los indicadores trazados en salud, y demuestra una vez más que le sigue cumpliendo con transparencia a sus habitantes. Quiero hacer un reconocimiento sincero por la labor que ha realizado el equipo de la Secretaría de Salud, es una manifestación del compromiso político que tienen con la comunidad”, confirma el Alcalde Rodríguez Valbuena.
