Superindustria inaugura casa del consumidor de bienes y servicios en Chía
La Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, en su rol como autoridad nacional para la protección al consumidor, puso a disposición de la ciudadanía un nuevo punto de atención en el municipio de Chía (Cundinamarca). Se trata de la Casa del Consumidor de Bienes y Servicios, programa en el que los usuarios podrán acceder de manera presencial a orientación gratuita por inconvenientes que presenten con sus compras de bienes y servicios.
“Una nueva Casa del Consumidor es una oportunidad para estar cerca de los consumidores y proteger sus derechos, resolver sus dudas y brindarles toda la atención que necesiten. Estos espacios no solo ayudan a promover la legalidad y el cumplimiento, sino que acercan el Estado a los habitantes y los sectores económicos que se desarrollan en esta zona de Cundinamarca”, manifestó el Superintendente de Industria y Comercio, Andrés Barreto González.
La Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, a través de la Red Nacional de Protección al Consumidor (RNPC), lidera esta iniciativa como parte de su función de velar por la protección de los derechos de los consumidores. La nueva Casa del Consumidor está ubicada en la Calle 10 # 10 -07, y su horario de atención será de lunes a viernes de 9:00a.m. a 12: 00m y de 2:00pm a 5:00p.m.
Actualmente, la Entidad tiene presencia con el programa Casas del Consumidor en 14 ciudades capitales del país, las cuales, se suman a las 9 que prestan servicio en Bogotá. En lo corrido de 2021, más de 111 mil ciudadanos a nivel nacional han recibido orientación gratuita a través de este programa.
Acerca de la Red Nacional de Protección al Consumidor – RNPC
Con la expedición en 2011 del Estatuto del Consumidor y para contribuir a su propósito de proteger y garantizar la efectividad y libre ejercicio de los derechos de los consumidores, así como amparar el respeto a su dignidad y a sus intereses económicos, nace la Red Nacional de Protección al Consumidor, con tres objetivos fundamentales:
1. Defender los derechos e intereses comerciales y económicos de los consumidores colombianos frente a los posibles abusos y engaños de los proveedores de bienes y servicios.
2. Trabajar por mantener un equilibrio en la relación que se da entre los consumidores y los productores o proveedores de bienes y servicios, basándose fundamentalmente en el respeto y el juego limpio que debe haber entre las dos partes.
3. Estimular al ciudadano a participar activamente en la defensa de sus derechos como consumidor, invitándolo a convertirse en veedor permanente del respeto de tales derechos, e incentivando la creación de organizaciones ciudadanas que velen por la protección del consumidor.
Este programa con sus Casas, Rutas, estrategias y proyectos empoderan a los ciudadanos y los convierten en consumidores informados y responsables, al tiempo de brindarles orientación directa y eficaz.
