Busongote: Primer Festival de Amasijos y Dulces en Cajicá
Promover las recetas de los dulces tradicionales de las abuelas; incentivar la creatividad de los que amasan la harina para brindarnos exquisitos panes y amasijos, y conocer la historia y la riqueza de la Sabana de Bogotá, otrora despensa de trigo en el país, son entre otros los objetivos del Busongote: Primer Festival de Amasijos y Dulces.
Conferencias con temas como El trigo, los molinos y el pan en la región, del historiador Andrés Olivos; exposición de la memoria fotográfica alrededor de los molinos de la Sabana; preparación de recetas tradicionales y mercado gourmet con amasijos y dulces de la región son algunas de las actividades de este evento.
Para esta versión, que mostrará a Cajicá como un pueblo próspero, encantador y destino listo para recibir con alegría a sus visitantes, fue invitado el departamento de Boyacá para que exhiba sus productos en torno al tema, además de una muestra de su riqueza cultural.
El Primer Festival de Amasijos y Dulces lleva el nombre de Busongote, palabra que en lengua chibcha quiere decir “cerca de cañas entretejidas”, para reconocer el espacio geográfico en donde estuvo el primer asentamiento muisca de esta región, ubicado “a media legua” (2 km), de donde queda hoy el pueblo de Cajicá.
El encuentro es organizado por el Instituto Municipal de Cultura y Turismo de la Alcaldía de Cajicá, con el apoyo del proyecto Colombia a la Mesa del Viceministerio de Turismo, el Instituto de Cultura y Turismo de Cundinamarca y Fenalco Bogotá Región, entre otros.
Sobre Cajicá
A tan solo 40 minutos de Bogotá en carro, y a una hora en el tren de turismo de la Sabana (solo los fines de semana), está Cajicá, un pequeño pueblo rodeado de hermosos paisajes y exuberantes montañas, en donde el tiempo transcurre a otra velocidad, sin apuro, sin trancones y con la posibilidad de disfrutar el campo que está a su alrededor.
Conocida como ‘Fortaleza de Piedra’ pues en la época de las primeras colonizaciones los caciques la defendían construyendo grandes murallas para defender su territorio. La población fue entonces paso obligado de los españoles para llegar al corazón del imperio muisca.
Hoy, Cajicá es destino obligado los fines de semana para disfrutar de su buena gastronomía y de los mejores amasijos y dulces, así como conocer sus telares donde expertas artesanas tejen tapetes y otras bellas piezas.
