La vía alterna supone tomar la Carrera 4 hasta la Variante. En esta vía, los trabajos durarán aproximadamente seis meses y se dividirán en los siguientes 4 tramos:
PRIMER TRAMO: desde la calle 4 hasta san Valentín
SEGUNDO TRAMO: desde San Valentín hasta San Miguel
TERCER TRAMO: desde San Valentín hasta Codensa
CUARTO TRAMO: desde Codensa hasta la Variante.
Avenida Chilacos:
La Avenida Chilacos será remodelada en al menos un 80 por ciento de su carpeta asfáltica y los trabajos allí supondrán cierres parciales y reducción de la calzada a una sola vía. Así mismo se hará en 13 tramos. El primero desde McDonald´s hasta la Carrera Tercera, tradicionalmente conocido como sector ‘Éxito express’.
En este tramo solamente se cerrará el sentido de entrada a Chía y se habilitará el carril de oriente a occidente. Así las cosas, y durante los trabajos, la Chilacos no dejará de operar. La alternativa para salir del municipio hacia Centro Chía, por ejemplo, es tomar la Av Pradilla.
