Nuevo hospital de Soacha por fin será una realidad

El Gobernador Nicolás García en compañía del alcalde de Soacha, Juan Carlos Saldarriaga y el decano de la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad Nacional, Carlos Eduardo Naranjo, firmaron hoy un convenio interadministrativo marco de cooperación por valor de $1.700 millones para adelantar los estudios y diseños que harán posible la construcción del nuevo hospital de este municipio.

«Hoy comenzamos a materializar un sueño que nos llena de alegría y estamos muy felices de que sus estudios y diseños estén en manos de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Soacha es una ciudad de más de un millón de habitantes y por esta razón requiere de grandes acciones y soluciones como lo es este hospital, cuya operación estará a cargo del municipio. Ratificamos nuestro compromiso con esta ciudad y con esta obra en la cual el departamento invertirá $20.000 millones», expresó el Mandatario departamental.

Los estudios y diseños del hospital, que prestará servicio a los habitantes de Soacha y también a usuarios de Granada y Sibaté, estarán listos en un plazo máximo de ocho meses, transcurridos los cuales, iniciará la construcción de la obra que será entregada en un año y medio.

«Hoy es un día muy importante porque por fin se hará realidad este gran anhelo de todos los soachunos. Este hospital no se quedará en un sueño truncado como en otras ocasiones. Hoy ya sabemos lo que vamos a contratar. Será una infraestructura similar a nuestra sede administrativa», dijo el alcalde de Soacha, Juan Carlos Saldarriaga.

Finalmente, el mandatario municipal compartió que el nuevo hospital tendrá 1.130 metros de construcción; contará con 183 camas de cuidados intensivos e intermedios, tanto para adultos como para niños y neonatos; y ofrecerá servicios de urgencia, laboratorio clínico, radiología, fisioterapia, terapia respiratoria, cirugía general, atención de partos y esterilización, entre muchos otros.
