Gobernación de Cundinamarca ofrece recompensa que conduzca a la captura del presunto o presuntos responsables del femicidio en Vergara
La Secretaría de la Mujer y Equidad de Género de Cundinamarca, se permite informar con relación a los hechos ocurridos en la vereda Rioseco del municipio de Vergara, en los cuales una mujer fue víctima de una violenta agresión en la cual perdió su vida, lo siguiente:
1. De acuerdo con el informe policial, el pasado 27 de febrero en horas de la noche, la ciudadana Dora Luz Balamba, fue víctima de varias heridas causadas con arma corto punzante, las cuales le ocasionaron la muerte.
2. La Gobernación de Cundinamarca condena estos hechos, e informa que en articulación con la Defensoría del Pueblo garantizará la representación judicial y brindará acompañamiento psicosocial a la familia de la víctima.
3. Los acontecimientos ocurridos evidencian signos de violencia extrema, frente a lo cual se instará a las autoridades competentes para investigar este crimen bajo el tipo penal de feminicidio en el marco de la ley 1761 de 2015, también conocida como ley Rosa Elvira Cely.
4. La Gobernación de Cundinamarca seguirá trabajando para eliminar las barreras de acceso a la justicia y lograr una respuesta rápida, efectiva y garantista de los derechos de las mujeres.
5. La Administración Departamental hace un llamado para erradicar la permisividad social frente a la violencia contra las mujeres y recuerda que cualquier homicidio motivado por razones de género y discriminación hacia las mujeres, es un feminicidio. En este sentido se une a la campaña ‘Ni una menos’ y seguirá trabajando por enfrentar el fenómeno de la violencia de tipo estructural y sistemático contra las mujeres.
6. En solidaridad con la comunidad de Vergara la secretaria de la Mujer y Equidad de Género, Norma Constanza Solórzano, participó de una velatón en el municipio, acto en el cual se sensibilizó a los ciudadanos sobre el respeto hacia la vida y la integridad de las mujeres.
7. Finalmente, la Administración Departamental ofreció una recompensa de hasta $10 millones para quien suministre información que conduzca a la captura del presunto o presuntos responsables de este hecho.
