La Agencia de Comercialización de Cundinamarca ahora será de la región central

Este hecho, sin precedentes, da cuenta de la gran apuesta de la alcaldesa Mayor de Bogotá, Claudia López Hernández, y el gobernador de Cundinamarca, Nicolás García Bustos, por promover el desarrollo de la Región Central de Colombia, en la que también se integran los departamentos de Boyacá, Huila, Meta y Tolima.

“Es una muy buena noticia. Vamos a fortalecer el trabajo articulado de nuestros seis territorios asociados que, de manera decidida y unánime, han dispuesto ejecutar el Plan de Abastecimiento Alimentario como la herramienta articuladora que junto con la Agencia permitirá a los más de 750.000 campesinos del centro del país comercializar sus productos”, expresó Ricardo Agudelo Sedano, gerente de la RAP-E.

La ley establece que la Agencia de Comercialización e Innovación del Departamento de Cundinamarca actuará como Agencia Regional de Seguridad Alimentaria y Comercialización, en aras de «fortalecer los procesos de abastecimiento alimentario y en beneficio de los campesinos de los cinco departamentos que integran la Región Administrativa y de Planeación Especial (RAP-E)”, se indica en el documento.

“Atendemos la instrucción de los mandatarios de Bogotá y Cundinamarca, desde ya, la Agencia trabajará articuladamente con todos los territorios que integran a la RAP-E, para lograr los objetivos del Plan, que también den respuesta a las necesidades presentes en la cadena de abastecimiento del centro del país”, agregó César Carrillo Vega, gerente de la Agencia Comercial.

A la fecha, avanza la gestión de nuevos acuerdos comerciales entre pequeños y medianos productores, y asociaciones de Agricultura Campesina, Familiar y Comunitaria (Acfc) de la región, con operadores de programas institucionales del Distrito, en el marco de la estrategia de Compras Públicas, en la que también participan las secretarías de agricultura de la Región Central, con el apoyo y acompañamiento de la RAP-E y la Agencia de Comercialización.
